In response to your comment, I didn't necessarily say that recent college grads are "better off" but simply hold and excel different skill sets than our older counterparts. I was simply noting the difference of culture between generations. I'm sure there are high school students who could show us a thing or two... And with the advancement of technology, the gap only widens. Kids these days are computer literate at such young ages now! However, there are many like your father who have proven to keep up with the times... He did after all gain major national media attention through his actions. With that said, I'm not surprised that he's into social media! But yes, when it comes down to it, our economy has seen better days. I have friends with advanced degrees struggling to find jobs. With that said, check out our internships & jobs board... And if you and your father need any help the I Love My Intern staff would be more than happy to give you a hand in any and all aspects! That being said, you seem to be misinformed. He isn't a former Lehman Brothers executive. He was Director of Operations for a company called Sababa Toys... which went bankrupt this summer. Earlier articles had mentioned this.... but I have had extreme difficulty finding a job despite the fact I've done everything right. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major from a private college. While companies might be able to hire us recent grads on the cheap, this isn't entirely my father's problem seeing as I am unable to get a job as well. He's very computer literate, uses facebook, texts, and yes... even has twitter. I dare say my dad is "with it" I've had to take a job in retail in the meantime because otherwise student loans were bound to hit me hard and I was going to be jobless.
